There is nothing like the thrill of a run chase and Sri Lanka have produced one of the greatest displays in world cricket as they chased down a mammoth total of 430 to beat England by two wickets in the ball to spare.
It was a record-breaking day in Rawalpindi as Harry Brook had already become the first Englishman to score a double hundred in this format as he produced a magnificent innings and one he assumed would be good enough to see his side record a comfortable victory.
Sri Lanka had other ideas though and superb displays from Pavan Rathnayake, Avishka Fernando and Dasun Shanaka set up a famous victory which was completed as Janith Liyanage scored an incredible unbeaten 61 from 27 balls and a sensational match-winning six from the penultimate ball of the match.
Take a look at which teams have completed the highest successful run chases in ODI history.
