Harlequins v Saracens team news: Cadan Murley captains Quins

Harlequins host London rivals Saracens in the final Prem Rugby derby weekend clash on Sunday afternoon.

Unsurprisingly, Harlequins have struggled in their opening three matches of the new Prem Rugby season, finding themselves rock bottom of the overall standings.

In contrast, Saracens are part of the group of seven teams to have won two of their matches so far and will feel that they should be three from three, having been the better side for much of their defeat to Sale Sharks.

Despite their contrasting form last term, Harlequins won this fixture in 2025/26, defeating their bitter rivals 20-12.

Quins are boosted by the return of England prop Fin Baxter to the starting side, as he joins Sam Riley and Ollie Streeter in the front row.

James Dun and Kieran Treadwell form the lock pairing, with Jack Kenningham, Seb Driscoll and Lucas Schmid making up the back row.

Will Porter partners Marcus Smith at fly half, who becomes the second youngest player to reach 200 appearances for Harlequins this weekend.

Cadan Murley leads the side from the wing, joined in the back three by George Furbank and Rodrigo Isgró, while Luke Northmore and Bryn Bradley form the centre partnership.

Saracens have made nine changes to their side from last weekend, with Maro Itoje set to lead the Men in Black.

Itoje is joined by England teammate George Martin in a world class lock pairing, just in front of Nathan Michelow, Andy Onyeama-Christie and Ben Earl in the back row.

Rhys Carré, who has this week been linked with a move to Bath, is named to start in the front row, alongside Theo Dan and Marcus Street.

Tomos Williams partners Fergus Burke at half back, inside of a centre pairing that features Lucio Cinti and Nick Tomkins, while Rotimi Segun is prefered to Noah Caluori on the wing, in a back three with Jack Bracken and Max Malins.
