The 2026 LIV Golf Tour signs off this week with newly-crowned champion Jon Rahm and co heading to The Club at Chatham Hills for the event in Indianapolis.
It is the second running of the event at the Pete Dye-designed course where Sebastian Munoz made history when winning last year, as he carded a 59 in round one.
It was not the first 59 in LIV history - there had been two before - but it was the first in a round that also included a double bogey.
Munoz will have happy memories coming back to defend as an 80/1 shot while Rahm, beaten by the Colombian in a play-off last year, tees it up two weeks after securing a third straight LIV Individual title.
Best Bet - Harold Varner III to win and each-way @ 30/1
Alternative Bet - Caleb Surratt to to win and each-way @ 30/1
Alternative Bet - Jon Rahm Finishing Position - 9 or Worse @ 10/11
Best Bet: Harold Varner III to win and each-way @ 30/1
A modest start to 2026 has morphed into a very decent one for Harold Varner III, who finds himself ninth in the standings going into the last event in Indianapolis.
Now he just needs to sign off nicely and his form figures this summer suggest he can be a contender at Chatham Hills.
A rare thing happened at LIV New York two weeks ago - neither Jon Rahm nor Bryson DeChambeau finished inside the top 30. It's the only time it has happened this season.
And Varner almost took advantage. He carded 67-69-65 over the first three days to lie second behind Joaquin Niemann going into the final round, but could only muster a Sunday 70 to allow the Chilean to race in.
Varner has to take the positives out of the week, the chief one being that he has now signed for 13 sub-par rounds in his last four events, producing finishing positions of T6-T19-T7-2.
Varner has gone three years since his one and only LIV win at Trump National in Washington.
He would always need a helping hand from Rahm and DeChambeau - and maybe even the in-form Niemann - but maybe the trio’s focus will be elsewhere this week.
Varner is a decent price and well worth backing in the outright market each-way, the terms being one quarter the odds the first five.
Alternative Bet: Caleb Surratt to to win and each-way @ 30/1
Another player heading to Indiana in good nick is Legion team member Caleb Surratt, who is a modest 30th in the standings.
The 22-year-old Walker Cup winner in 2023 is still making his way in the game but he has made positive strides of late to suggest a win is not far away.
He has had five top-20s this year, the last two at the most recent events in the UK and New York.
Then last week he teed it up in the Danish Championship, arguably more competitive than any LIV event, where he was bang in touch at halfway following rounds of 69 and 66 before settling for a share of 13th position.
Alternative Bet: Jon Rahm Finishing Position - 9 or Worse @ 10/11
Jon Rahm is a four-time winner in three seasons of LIV Golf and he goes to Indianapolis with individual glory sewn up once more.
However, he has missed a step or two coming home and perhaps will be less focused than usual given the doubts over his future with the tour.
Rahm did not shoot a single score under par in the Big Apple and has now had three finishes outside the top 15 in his last four starts.
During that time he has also finished T36 at the Scottish Open, T46 at The Open and missed the cut at the US Open, so he looks worth backing to end up ninth or worse in Indianapolis.
This is the second running of LIV Golf Indianapolis with last year's event also staged at Chatham Hills where Sebastian Munoz won
Munoz shot a 59 on day one while Jon Rahm shot a 60 on day three, the two eventually carding 22-under-par and the Colombian winning the play-off
There were nine scores of 63 or better last year with Carlos Ortiz shooting back-to-back 63s
Chatham Hills is a 7,143-yard, par 71 course, designed by Pete Dye
Rahm heads to Chatham Hills as the 2026 LIV Golf Individual champion, retaining the title; Bryson DeChambeau will finish second with Joaquin Niemann and Lucas Herbet fighting out third spot
Rahm, DeChambeau, Niemann and Herbert are all multiple winners on the 2026 LIV Golf Tour
