Reigning AFL champions Brisbane Lions will take on Fremantle in the 2026 Grand Final as they look to secure a third consecutive Premiership.
Both sides arrive at the AFL Grand final through dramatic preliminary final victories, earning themselves a spot at the showpiece on Saturday 26th September at the MCG.
Fremantle booked just the second AFL Grand Final appearance in club history after producing a strong comeback against Sydney, with the Dockers trailing by 28 points during the third quarter, before turning it round to win 83-71.
Standing in their way are a Brisbane side chasing their third title in a row with the Lions edging Hawthorn 131-122 in a thrilling preliminary final.
The two sides have already met once this season, with Fremantle winning by 25 points at the Gabba in round 12, but they will need to bring their a-game to the final, if they are to secure their first ever Premiership.
Heading into the contest, the Lions are priced as 1.62 favourites to lift the title, as they go in search of that historic three-peat.
Brisbane's pedigree in finals and their experience at the MCG are crucial factors heading into Saturday's final, despite having been defeated by the Dockers in their last meeting.
Unsurprisingly, Fremantle head into the match as underdogs, priced at 2.30 to win their first ever Premiership.
