Reports claim that Real Madrid have sanctioned the departure of Franco Mastantuono on a loan deal.
Just 12 months ago, the Argentine midfielder was considered to be one of the most promising players in the world, sealing a €45m move to Los Blancos after enjoying a breakout campaign for River Plate.
The 18-year-old's big money move to the Spanish capital hasn't gone entirely to script, however. Mastantuono managed to get on the scoresheet just once in a total of 11 La Liga starts during his debut campaign.

Franco Mastantuono potential next club
Fulham
Raul Garcia and Fran Garcia have already been linked with a move to West London since the Cottagers appoint former Madrid boss Alvaro Arbeloa as manager, and he could be tempted to make a play for another of his former players in Mastantuono.
The exit of Harry Wilson leaves Fulham in need of an option to rotate with Oscar Bobb off the right and the ability to operate in central attacking midfield will also be to the Argentine's benefit.
Lyon
The 'Endrick Route' is also an option for Mastantuono next season.
Real Madrid sent the youngster out on loan to the French club to great effect last campaign; Endrick quickly rediscovering some of his best form after being afforded crucial gametime that he was deprived of in Spain.
Endrick is set to stay and fight for his place at Madrid this term but Mastantuono could head the opposite way.
Real Sociedad
Several of Real Madrid's stars have enjoyed fruitful loan spells with Basque outfit Real Sociedad and it would make sense for Mastantuono to stay in La Liga if possible.
Theo Hernandez and Martin Odegaard have furthered their careers off the back of spells with Realaren and it would be more straightforward for Madrid to monitor his progress if he remained in the country.
The Copa del Rey winners have Europa League football to contend with next season and will be in desperate need of numbers if they hope to advance on last term's 10th place Spanish top-flight finish.
