Check out the latest team news and predicted lineups as France and Spain prepare to face off at Dallas Stadium with a spot in the 2026 World Cup final up for grabs.
For the first time the four top ranked teams in the world rankings are set to meet in the World Cup semi-finals, with France and Spain currently occupying the first and third spots respectively.
Didier Deschamps' side have reached four of the last seven World Cup finals dating back to their maiden triumph on home soil in 1998, and they have looked like the team to beat this summer.
Les Bleus have conceded just two goals all tournament, and comfortably booked their place in the final four with a 2-0 victory over Morocco last week thanks to second-half goals from Kylian Mbappe and Ousmane Dembele.
The only team with a better defensive record than France is Spain. La Roja have conceded just a single goal across their six games in the tournament so far.
The reigning European champions looked set to be going to extra-time in their quarter-final clash with Belgium on Friday, but substitute Mikel Merino fired home with just minutes remaining to send them through to the final four for just the second time in their history.
Ahead of Tuesday's clash Deschamps insisted that France talisman Kylian Mbappe will be fully fit to start in Texas, despite reports in France claiming the Real Madrid forward is struggling with a lingering ankle issue.
Mbappe has played in each of France's games in the tournament so far but was substituted in the closing stages of their win over Morocco after taking a knock.
While he is said to have trained away from his team-mates in recent days, Mbappe is expected to once again lead the line for France this evening as he looks to add to the eight goals he has already scored at the tournament.
Mbappe isn't the only concern for Les Bleus, however. Aurelian Tchouameni has been nursing a thigh injury he sustained in the round of 32 win over Sweden and hasn't featured since.
Tchouameni has returned to full training in recent days but it appears unlikely that Deschamps will risk naming him in the starting XI, with Manu Kone set to once again deputise in his absence.
Following significant speculation prior to the tournament surrounding Lamine Yamal's fitness, the Barcelona forward has proven dependable for his country once again after starring in their European Championships win two years ago.
Yamal did not start Spain's shock draw with Cape Verde in their Group H opener, but he returned to the starting lineup for the three games that followed while being substituted off progressively later each time.
In knockout clashes against Portugal and Belgium the 19-year-old managed the full 90 minutes without issue - which will be reassuring for Spain fans that are relying on him to produce yet another standout performance when the lights shine brightest.
Other than Yamal Luis de la Fuente has been blessed with few injury concerns throughout this summer's tournament, and he will be able to deploy his strongest possible side against France.
