Former Celtic boss Wilfried Nancy is reportedly close to being named as the new manager of Ligue 1 side Strasbourg.
The French side are searching for a new manager after Gary O'Neil left his role to join Ipswich Town last month.
O'Neil had only joined Strasbourg in January following Liam Rosenior's move to become Chelsea manager.
Strasbourg finished eighth in Ligue 1 last season and O'Neil was able to lead the club to the semi-finals of the UEFA Conference League, before they were knocked out by eventual runners-up Rayo Vallecano.
The club's aim to find a replacement for O'Neil appears to be reaching a conclusion, with French news outlet Onze Mondial reporting that they are closing in on the appointment of Nancy.
Strasbourg are connected to Chelsea through their BlueCo ownership and it would be the ideal move for Nancy in the next stage of his career.
Success in France could open more doors for the 49-year-old who is looking to rebuild his reputation following a disastrous spell as Celtic manager.
Nancy was appointed as Celtic manager in December 2025 but he looked completely out of his depth with the Scottish Premiership champions.
His tenure lasted just 33 days and eight matches before the club pulled the plug in January.
He won two and lost six those fixtures and he goes down as arguably the worst manager in the club's history.
However, he now has the chance to redeem himself at a club which could challenge for European football again next season.
