Arsenal lost a Premier League game for the first time since April when they went down 3-0 to Brighton in their last away game.
The Gunners have responded well, however, with back-to-back wins over Leeds United and Lille and they will feel confident of making it three in a row at struggling Nottingham Forest.
Forest have just five points to show from six Premier League games so far and only one of those points has come at the City Ground.
The hosts have yet to score at home in any competition after four games, and they are facing the league’s joint best defence this weekend.
Best Bet - Arsenal -1 handicap @ 13/8
Alternative Bet - Bukayo Saka to score anytime @ 21/10
Bet Builder - Bukayo Saka 2+ shots on target, Bruno Guimaraes 1+ shots on target,Daniel Munoz to commit 2+ fouls @ 10/1
Best Bet: Arsenal -1 handicap @ 13/8
Nottingham Forest’s issues in front of goal, particularly at home, make an Arsenal win to nil an attractive option but the better angle looks to be backing the visitors to cover a -1 handicap.
The Gunners have scored more than once in four of their six Premier League games and may only need to score the minimum two goals to win with a bit of room to spare.
Arsenal have won nine of their 10 games this season across all competitions and five of those victories have come by two or more goals, but they have the tools to hit more than two strikes and look capable of beating Forest by a fairly big margin.
Oliver Glasner’s hosts have scored in three of their last five league games and Arsenal have just one clean sheet in their last four across all competitions, so a goal for the hosts isn’t completely off the table.
Backing Arsenal to beat a -1 handicap covers the possibility of Forest recording a consolation effort while still being outclassed.
Alternative Bet: Bukayo Saka to score anytime @ 21/10
Bukayo Saka is the form man in the Arsenal attack this season and is their leading scorer in the Premier League with three goals so far.
Saka grabbed a couple of goals for England over the Nations League break and had a goal and an assist in a 25-minute cameo against Lille in the UEFA Champions League in midweek.
Saka should come into Sunday’s game fresh after being used sparingly against Les Dogues and he stands out as the best candidate for an anytime effort.
Saka is in fine scoring form and he can at least force two saves at the City Ground. The Arsenal forward is averaging an impressive 2.8 shots per game and has been incredibly accurate, averaging 1.7 per game on target.
Visiting midfielder Bruno Guimaraes can also force at least one save. The former Newcastle man has two Premier League goals for the season and was on target for Brazil over the international break.
Guimaraes didn’t score in the win over Lille but he did get a few opportunities with five shots in total - two of which were on target.
Forest’s Daniel Munoz committed four fouls in the defeat to Crystal Palace last time out. The wing-back is averaging 1.5 per game in the Premier League and two or more fouls for the Colombian in this clash with one of the league’s top attacking sides seems realistic.
