Mexico will look to end their wait for a win under new manager Rafael Marquez when they take on Chile at Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum in an international friendly on Wednesday.
Marquez stepped in to replace former boss Javier Aguirre, whose contract came to an end after the 2026 World Cup.
Aguirre led Mexico to the Round of 16 before they lost to England, but Marquez has not been able to hit the ground running.
Chile failed to qualify for last summer's tournament after finishing bottom of the CONMEBOL standings, and interim coach Nicolas Cordova has his work cut out again.
Best Bet - Mexico to win and both teams to score @ 5/2
Alternative Bet - German Berterame to score anytime @ 6/4
Bet Builder - Half-time/full-time - Mexico/Mexico, Under 10 corners, Over 3 goals @ 27/4
Best Bet: Mexico to win and both teams to score @ 9/4
Mexico have drawn two of their three games under Marquez during this international break, but they will expect to have too much class for Chile.
El Tri started the international break with a 1-1 draw against Colombia and repeated that result against Peru.
On Sunday, they fell to a 3-0 defeat to the USA, but Mauricio Pochettino's team are levels above Chile, and Mexico should find this a much easier fixture.
The Red One have lost four of their last five matches, conceding 12 goals in that time.
They won just two of their 18 World Cup qualifiers and are in disarray, and a total reset looks to be needed under a new manager.
At a neutral venue, Chile should still be able to find the back of the net, though. Mexico have yet to keep a clean sheet under Marquez and have kept only one in their last five, while Chile have netted in four of their last five away matches.
Alternative Bet: German Berterame to score anytime @ 6/4
Marquez has used the last three matches as a chance to experiment with his best starting XI, and Inter Miami striker German Berterame has started one game and also featured off the bench.
The 27-year-old has been in solid form in MLS, having scored seven goals and grabbed a further four assists in 23 appearances.
He has registered 51 shots and 20 of those have hit the target. In the last four seasons, he has seen more than 40% of his shots hit the target and he is Mexico's most in-form striker heading into this final international friendly.
At odds-against, he looks good value to hit the back of the net against a Chile side that has issues in defence.
Half-time/full-time - Mexico/Mexico
Under 10 corners
Over 3 goals

Mexico have not yet found their rhythm under Marquez, but Chile's recent form is alarming. They have won only two of their last 15 matches away from home and should be on the back foot from the outset on Wednesday.
Marquez's team have been involved in three games this autumn that have all failed to produce many set-pieces. None of Mexico's last three games have seen more than 10 corners taken and with this tie being another friendly, it's likely there are plenty of substitutions that will upset the rhythm of the match.
The last two meetings between these two nations have seen four goals scored in each fixture, and another lively affair is expected. Chile have shipped four goals in two of their last five games and their recent form suggests they could be on the end of another hiding.
