Manchester City and Brighton will hope to return to winning ways when they face each other in the fourth round of the EFL Cup on Wednesday night.
The Citizens fell to a 2-1 defeat to Aston Villa on Saturday at Villa Park, while Liverpool got the better of Brighton at Anfield as they secured a 2-0 win.
While the EFL Cup gives both clubs a realistic chance of winning silverware, both Enzo Maresca and Fabian Hurzeler are expected to make plenty of changes for the clash at the Etihad Stadium.
Best Bet - Manchester City to score and both teams to score @ 7/4
Alternative Bet - Both teams to score 1st half - 2nd half @ 17/2
Bet Builder - Phil Foden to score, Abdukodir Khusanov 1+ fouls committed & Jeremy Doku 2+ fouls won @ 21/4
Best Bet: Manchester City to score and both teams to score @ 7/4
City's players will be desperate to prove a point as defending champions on Wednesday, but they will need to have their wits about them on home soil.
Brighton have been one of the main success stories through the first two months of the campaign, and their record against City is impressive.
The Seagulls have not lost any of their last four against Manchester City and they will certainly expect to score against a City defence that has conceded in four consecutive games.
However, this should come down to squad depth and while Brighton have some decent backup options, City's second string are on another level.
The likes of Jeremy Doku, Phil Foden, Nico O'Reilly and Mateo Kovacic are all set to start and the hosts should be able to overpower Hurzeler's team in midweek.
Alternative Bet: Both teams to score 1st half - 2nd half @ 17/2
Recent games between these two sides have been entertaining to say the least. Both teams have scored in the last four meetings, while at least three goals have been scored in eight of the last 10 encounters.
While Brighton have failed to score in their last two games in all competitions, they have scored 23 goals in eight Premier League matches, the most of any team, while City have scored the second-most with 20.
The two teams are both capable of dominating possession and scoring goals on the counter-attack, so there's every chance we witness a game where both teams score in both halves.
Phil Foden to score
Abdukodir Khusanov 1+ fouls committed
Jeremy Doku 2+ fouls won
Pays @ 21/4
City playmaker Phil Foden has found himself in and out of the team this season, but he has four goals to his name in his last two starts.
Foden scored a hat-trick in his last start against AEK Athens and he looks good value to hit the back of the net once again.
Fellow forward Jeremy Doku will be tough to stop out wide and he has been fouled 13 times this season. He has been upended three times or more in three of his last four appearances.
City defender Abdukodir Khusanov may have his work cut out at the back too. The centre-back has committed only seven fouls this season, but four of them came in his last outing against Villa.
With Brighton expected to play on the counter-attack on occasions, he will be happy to concede a cheap foul or two to slow the Seagulls down.
