After a shaky start to the season, Luton Town are making up for lost time in League One and a home win over Doncaster Rovers would put them firmly in the mix for the play-off places.
Hopes were high coming into the campaign for Luton as they won eight of their final 10 games to finish only a point outside the play-off positions last season as well as claiming the EFL Trophy.
Jack Wilshere’s side won only two of their opening seven League One games which left them playing catch up, but they have claimed maximum points in three of their last four and may be finding peak form.
Luton have won their last two home league games 2-1 against Barnsley and Leicester City and will be hoping to make it three on the spin against Doncaster.
Rovers made it three wins in five league outings with Saturday’s 2-0 success at home to Sheffield Wednesday but they have found things much tougher on the road.
Best Bet - Luton to win & under 3.5 goals @ 13/8

Best Bet: Luton to win & under 3.5 goals @ 13/8
Luton lost only one of their final 13 games at Kenilworth Road last season and just one defeat in seven competitive outings at home this term suggests their Bedfordshire base could be a fortress again.
The Hatters have won three of their last five home league games and hard-fought one-goal victories over Stockport County, Barnsley and Leicester give the form some substance.
Luton battled to a 1-0 win at home to Doncaster last season and this could follow a similar narrative.
Rovers have picked up only four points in five away league games, having suffered 2-1 defeats at Mansfield Town and Leicester and been edged out 1-0 at AFC Wimbledon.
With only 12 goals scored in 11 league games, Doncaster are lacking in forward areas and a professional performance should see Luton prevail.
Only one of the Hatters’ last eight league games - a 4-1 win at Wycombe - has gone over 3.5 goals and this is unlikely to be a free-scoring classic.
Alternative Bet: Nahki Wells anytime goalscorer @ 1/1
Luton’s upturn in form has coincided with the resurgence of 36-year-old striker Nahki Wells, who is their leading scorer having netted seven of their 21 league goals.
Wells scored only five times in 39 league appearances last season but has already eclipsed that total in just 11 outings this term and the former Premier League and Championship striker is putting his experience to good use.
Wells has scored in three of his last four league appearances and, with 14 shots on target in 11 league starts, he could get on the scoresheet again.
Luton have won four of their last six fixtures and have recorded back-to-back victories in League One, seeing off Barnsley and Leicester 2-1 at home.
The Hatters, with confidence restored, should be able to see off a Doncaster side that have suffered defeat in three of their five away league matches.
Wells is in a rich vein of scoring form for Luton, living up to his past exploits in the Championship, and has netted seven goals in just 11 league appearances.
With goals in three of his last four outings and also likely to be on penalty duty, he may be able to add to his tally.
That said, Luton have kept only one clean sheet in nine - both teams have scored in each of their last five games - and a consolation goal could be within reach for Rovers.
