Liverpool will be aiming to make it three wins from three in the UEFA Champions League as they welcome Villarreal to Anfield on Tuesday evening.
The Reds have already beaten Spanish opposition in Atlético de Madrid in their opening game before a high-scoring win at LASK.
Villarreal came off second-best in a five-goal contest at Borussia Dortmund on matchday one before overcoming Napoli 3-1 on home soil last week but their record on English soil is unflattering.

Best Bet: Liverpool to win & both teams to score @ 7/4
Andoni Iraola is going for three UEFA Champions League wins on the trot and his side can be fancied to get all three points against Villarreal.
Both teams have scored in each of Liverpool's two European wins so far, with LASK making things interesting last week having trailed 4-0 after 51 minutes in a contest the Reds eventually won 6-3.
Last month, Atleti took the lead at Anfield through Marcos Llorente before succumbing to a 2-1 loss.
Dominik Szoboszlai and Alexis MacAllister were the Liverpool goalscorers and the Hungarian playmaker is set to miss out here after going off in Saturday's come-from-behind win at Brentford.
Villarreal were held scoreless at home against Elche in La Liga on Saturday and the Yellow Submarine have now won just two from nine in their domestic league. They did record an xG figure of 2.38 in that weekend stalemate.
Inigo Perez's side scored twice in Dortmund last month and were 3-1 winners at home to Napoli last week in an open game.
They have failed to score in two previous visits to Anfield, losing 2-0 in April 2022 in their most recent visit, but can get on the scoresheet now, albeit in what may be a seventh UEFA Champions League defeat in their ninth visit to England.
Alternative Bet: Bradley Barcola anytime goalscorer @ 6/4
Big-money summer arrival Bradley Barcola is up and running for the Reds after netting a hat-trick in the UEFA Champions League win over LASK, his first goals for the club.
Barcola added an assist in the come-from-behind win at Brentford on Saturday in the Premier League as he teed up Alexander Isak for the match-winning goal.
It could easily have been Barcola that stole the headlines as he missed several excellent scoring chances at the Gtech Community Stadium.
Rather than worry about the missed opportunities, Iraola preferred to suggest: "I love that he's having so many chances and being in those situations" as the Reds boss reflected his player could have bagged another hat-trick.
Barcola is starting to flourish and can get on the scoresheet again now.

Liverpool to score in both halves
Alexander Isak anytime goalscorer
Florian Wirtz to score or assist
Pays 37/10
This looks a winnable game for Liverpool with Villarreal having won just two from nine in La Liga and conceded four goals in two UEFA Champions League games. Their record in England is poor, with six losses in nine visits, their only success a qualifier win over Everton in 2005.
The Reds have scored goals in each half of both games in this competition and can carry on that trend now.
The Liverpool careers of Isak and Florian Wirtz continue to be scrutinised. The Swede scored his sixth goal of the season for club and country at Brentford and is starting to settle after a tough first season.
So, too, is playmaker Wirtz. He fashioned nine chances from open play against the Bees and has assists in back-to-back games for the Reds as well as a goal for Germany against Serbia earlier this month. He can continue to answer his critics with a goal involvement.
