Tottenham take on struggling Crystal Palace looking to continue their improving recent form on Saturday evening.
Roberto De Zerbi's men have won each of their last two Premier League games and ought to have beaten Manchester United the week before.
The 2-0 win over Chelsea last time out felt like a corner was being turned, and Spurs can put a beleaguered Palace side to the sword.
Gavin Horsfall, Steve Freeth, Nathan Joyes and Mark Stinchcombe on the Football Betting Club have put a 28/1 Bet Builder together for Saturday's clash.
Bet Builder tip:
Mohammed Kudus 1+ assist
Sandro Tonali 1+ shots on target outside the box
Tottenham over 14.5 shots
Archie Gray to be fouled
Pays 28/1
Gavin said: Mohamed Kudus really caught my eye— He was playing just in front of me when I was in the away end at Spurs, up and down the right-hand side. I think those Palace wing-backs are going to be fully in retreat, and we can expect to see plenty of Spurs possession and quick movement from the flanks, which is how you break down some of these low-block sides. He's going to be picking out Tonali, Maddison, runners on the edge of the box, more likely than whipping it into Solanke. At 10/11 to assist or score, that felt a bit conservative, so I'll stick my neck out and go 11/4 for an assist where Tottenham could score a few goals."
Steve said: "Tonali, I put him up last week to have two shots, and he did that fortunately. He's had 13 shots in total, but only one has been on target—and that was from about 153 yards against Brentford! Looking at his heat map, he's just outside the box, and I think he's primed and ready to get another one on target. Crystal Palace have conceded the most shots on target this season, so I'm going for Sandro Tonali to have a shot on target from outside the box at around 3/1."
Matthew said: "I'm going with match shots. Spurs over 14.5 match shots: it's landed in three of the four home games so far, with the only game where it fell short being that 0-0 draw against Everton. I think Crystal Palace will make it slightly difficult, but Spurs need to start improving their goal difference. Spurs are short-priced to win, which aligns with our selections, and if there are going to be goals, hopefully there are shots, and that can land for the fourth time at home out of five this season."
Mark said: "I am looking at Archie Gray to be fouled just once or more at 8/11. He's actually won two or more fouls in five of his last seven games. His likely opponent is Yeremy Pino, who is quite a temperamental character, he's quite petulant—he's been booked in five of his last six games and has committed at least a foul in seven of his nine starts where he's played an hour or more this season. So, with Gray winning two or more fouls regularly, I just need him to win one at 8/11."
Tottenham have lost just one of their last six games
Tottenham have kept three clean sheets in their last six games
Crystal Palace have conceded the most goals in the Premier League (19)
