We take a look at the contenders to be the next manager of Hibernian after the club decided to draw the line under David Gray's time in charge.
Hibernian have had a difficult start to the new season after failing to reach the league phase of the UEFA Conference League and losing four of their first six Scottish Premiership fixtures.
While Gray's name will forever be etched into the club's history after scoring the injury-time winner against Rangers in the 2016 Scottish Cup Final, his time as manager has come to an end.
Tuesday's 1-0 home defeat to bottom side Kilmarnock was Hibs' third league defeat in a row and the result leaves the club ninth in the table.

Marvin Bartley
Marvin Bartley has enjoyed a fantastic start to life as Stenhousemuir manager this season.
He has guided the club to the top of the Scottish Championship table with six wins and a draw from their opening seven fixtures.
Bartley remains a cult hero at Easter Road and he was part of the team that won the Scottish Cup in 2016.
Steve Clarke
Former Scotland manager Steve Clarke would be an eye-catching appointment in Edinburgh.
Clarke will go down as one of the best Scotland managers of all-time, but his record at international tournaments left a lot to be desired.
He left his role after Scotland's early exit from the 2026 World Cup and he would divide opinion amongst supporters.
Ian Murray
Ian Murray made over 250 league appearances for Hibernian during his playing career and is still held in high regard.
He became the manager of Greenock Morton in January, but the club are currently struggling at the foot of the Scottish Championship table.
He boasts plenty of experience in Scottish football and he knows his way around Easter Road.
Jon Dahl Tomasson
Jon Dahl Tomasson has been out of work since being sacked as Sweden manager in October 2025.
Tomasson has previously managed Blackburn Rovers and he narrowly missed out on guiding the club into the Championship play-offs.
He is looking to return to management but he is yet to secure a job despite being linked with numerous roles.
