The 2026 F1 season will mark the 77th running of the competition and there is one notable change on the calendar as the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix is replaced by the new Spanish Grand Prix in Madrid.

The removal of the Emilia Romagna Grand Prix means there will be no racing at Imola next year, while Madrid's debut is one of a number of changes, most of which have been made in an attempt to streamline transport and reduce carbon emissions.
The Canadian Grand Prix, which is typically held in June, has been brought forward to the final penultimate weekend of May, moving the Monaco Grand Prix to the start of June.
Switching Canada and Monaco ensures the race in Montreal follows the Miami Grand Prix, with Monaco kickstarting an uninterrupted European section over the summer months which concludes with the Azerbaijan Grand Prix at the end of September.
Barcelona remains on the grid, as does Zandvoort ahead of the final Dutch Grand Prix.
The campaign will end with two groups of three consecutive race weekends, concluding with a Las Vegas-Qatar-Abu Dhabi triple-header.
