Every word said in feisty Tyson Fury - Anthony Joshua exchange on Saturday night

Yes. we've been here before, but it feels as though we are finally edging towards the conclusion of this decade-long Tyson Fury - Anthony Joshua saga.

AJ was ringside as Fury marked his return to the ring with a comprehensive victory over Arslanbek Makhmudov at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday night.

Earlier in the evening, prior to the start of the main event, Saudi Arabian boxing bank roller Turki Alalshikh had hinted that an agreement had been reached for the British behemoths to face one another, stating that a historic announcement regarding 'the biggest fight in British boxing history' was imminent.

The expectation was that further details regarding the long-speculated bout would be revealed if and when Fury prevailed against his hard-hitting and dangerous Russian opponent.

However, despite the Morecambe man romping to a 35th career victory, and Alalshikh subsequently taking to the ring to further tease confirmation, fight fans were still left with no definitive news on whether the pair will actually collide.

Fury did his utmost to confirm the showdown, challenging Joshua to agree to the fight during his celebratory speech, and whilst Joshua did take to the microphone himself, he wasn't willing to provide an answer to the question posed to him by the Gypsy King.

"Like I said, let me get Arslanbek Makhmudov out of the way and we will talk nexts... well, next I want to give you all the fight you have been waiting for.

"I want you, AJ, Anthony Joshua - let's give the fight fans what they want, 'the battle of Britain'.

"Here is my challenge, 'I challenge you, Anthony Joshua, to fight me, the Gypsy King next... do you accept my challenge?

"Tyson, you are a clout chaser. I have never had a problem getting in the ring with you; I punched you up when we were kids and after watching you out here tonight I will punch you up again.

"With all due respect, tonight is your night and you know that I will stand across that ring from you in due time.

"You are not going to tell me what to do; I have been chasing you for ten years. When you are ready you come and see me and tell me your terms and conditions and I will have you in the ring when I am ready, I am the boss!
