Everton have reportedly made West Ham winger Jarrod Bowen their top target as they look to strengthen the squad ahead of the 2026/27 season.
Just hours after Bournemouth were installed as odds-on favourites to bring the England international to the south coast, the Toffees have now entered the race as David Moyes attempts to orchestrate a reunion with the 29-year-old.
Reporter Alan Nixon has suggested Moyes is working hard to convince the Everton board to press on with plans to make a bid for the winger.
The duo enjoyed great success together at the London Stadium, culminating in Bowen scoring the winning goal in the 2023 UEFA Conference League final as the Hammers lifted a first trophy for 43 years.
Despite his clear loyalty to West Ham after six memorable years at the club, Bowen turns 30 in December and will understandably be wanting to play in the Premier League next season.
It will be fascinating to see how this transfer situation develops over the coming days, but it seems more and more unlikely Bowen will be playing for West Ham in the Championship next season.
