Manchester United midfielder Jack Moorhouse is reportedly poised to join Dundee on a season-long loan.
A combative force in the centre of the pitch, Moorhouse has earned a number of admirers for his performances at youth level for United.
Moorhouse the first half of last season on loan at League One side Leyton Orient where he made 22 appearances in all competitions before being recalled by United in February.
United intend on being deliberate with managing the 20-year-old's development, with clubs across the EFL and abroad all said to have been interested in signing him on loan.
Ultimately though it appears that Dundee have won out, with the Daily Mail reporting that Moorhouse is expected to complete a switch to Dens Park for the 2026-27 campaign.
Moorhouse is said to be heading north to Scotland to finalise the switch, with official confirmation of the transfer expected imminently.
The move represents something of a coup for the Scottish Premiership side, with Moorhouse said to be highly-rated within Old Trafford.
Last summer he signed a new three-year deal to remain at his boyhood club with the club retaining an option to extend for an additional 12 months.
He also was twice named on the bench for the senior side in the Premier League.
Born in Manchester, Moorhouse has made five appearances for the Republic of Ireland U21s since making his debut last year.
