St Patrick's Athletic will look to resume their title challenge when they visit Derry City on Monday night.
St Pat's suffered a devastating blow to their title ambitions when they conceded two second-half goals at home to Shelbourne on Friday night, ultimately losing the game and handing the league initiative back to rivals Shamrock and Bohemians.
The Saints still retain one game in hand over the top two, however, making tonight's visit to Derry a vital, must-win encounter.
Hosts Derry, meanwhile, will also be hoping to respond at the Ryan McBride Brandywell Stadium this evening, following their 2-0 loss at Drogheda last time out.
In an increasingly tight title race, St Pat's can leapfrog local rivals Bohemians into second place with an away win at Derry, which would leave the Saints just three points shy of Shamrock Rovers heading into the final two matches of the league season.
Anything less than three points is likely to put an end to their title ambitions this year, and Derry City will be hoping to spoil the party on home soil.
The Candystripes don't have a lot to play for in the remainder of the league campaign; however, three points at home against the Saints would see the hosts rise to fifth in the standings, leaving Shelbourne only two points above them with two fixtures remaining.
