The David Power Jockeys' Cup sees jockeys compete for the most lucrative individual prize pot in racing history.
Introduced in an attempt to revolutionise the sport and enhance its appeal, the competition runs across British jumps racing’s core season and revolves around races that are televised on ITV.
The David Power Jockeys' Cup commences on the opening day of Cheltenham's November Meeting on Friday 15th November 2024 and concludes on the second day of the Grand National fixture on Friday 4th April 2025.
The David Power Jockeys' Cup abides by a simple league-style format where jockeys accrue points by finishing in the first four of ITV-televised races.
By the end of the competition in April, the top ten jockeys in the league standings will all be rewarded, plus the top two conditional riders will also be recognised with a cash reward.
Races that are not broadcast on ITV do not count towards the competition.
Points are awarded to the top four finishers on races that are broadcast on ITV.
A record-breaking £1.5 million prize fund is on offer for the David Power Jockeys' Cup.
The top prize is £500,000, with £200,000 up for grabs for second place and £100,000 for third.
In addition, trainers and racing staff will also be in the mix for windfalls, depending on who the jockey works in collaboration with.

Any race that is broadcast on ITV between November 15th 2024 and April 4th 2025 contributes to the David Power Jockeys' Cup standings.
Over 100 races are shown by ITV over the course of the National Hunt season, including the Cheltenham Festival and regular Saturday meetings.
The David Power Jockeys' Cup is is open to all professional and amateur jockeys licensed to ride in British National Hunt races.
Several big names in the Jockeys Championship, which will run in unison with the David Power Jockeys' Cup, will be competing for the lucrative prize including Harry Cobden, Harry Skelton and Nico de Boinville.
