Daniel Dubois and Fabio Wardley will face each other again at London's O2 Arena on October 17th following confirmation of a hotly-anticipated rematch.
The first fight in May was an all-time British classic as Dubois secured an 11th round stoppage in Manchester to dethrone former champion Wardley.
In the process, Dubois became a two-time world champion, while Wardley lost his WBO heavyweight belt in his first defence.
The pair will now lock horns again as Wardley plots revenge, while Dubois looks to defend a title he worked so hard for.
The defeat for Wardley was the first of his 22-fight career and after the fight was agreed during the undercard of Filip Hrgovic's sensational win over Moses Itauma, the 31-year-old is desperate to win his title back.
"It didn't take long at all. The O2 is like a home away from home for me," said Wardley.
"I'm looking forward to getting straight back into it. Its going to be a rematch and its going to be revenge."
Dubois was typically bullish after the fight announcement as he faced off with Wardley in the ring.
"Let's get it on, it's just a war," said Dubois
"When you get in the water, you're going to get wet. Give me some of that face-to-face - boy."
The winner of the fight could potentially face fellow world champion Hrgovic early next year, while it remains to be seen how long it will be before Itauma gets another title opportunity.
