Manchester Super Giants Men v SunRisers Leeds Men Prediction, Tips and Bet Builder

Finals weekend in the 2026 Men's Hundred gets going with a Roses clash at The Oval in the Eliminator for the right to meet Trent Rockets in Sunday's Lord's showpiece.

Second-placed Manchester Super Giants and third-placed SunRisers Leeds were separated by net run rate alone in the final standings and the difference between them on that metric was less than two tenths.

Not only that, the cross-Pennine rivals have met twice this term over the past few weeks and racked up a win apiece.

But despite it sounding as though this shootout is too close to call, it is the Super Giants who head for Surrey feeling on top of the world, just three days after signing off their group campaign with a 10-wicket mauling of their Hundred Eliminator opponents.

Can they repeat the feat under the sternest of pressure or can Harry Brook and the Sunrisers hit back?

Manchester Super Giants v SunRisers Leeds Prediction

Best Bet: Manchester Super Giants to win @ 10/11

The Super Giants are peaking at precisely the right time and with the wind in their sails they should be taken to land the odds in their Eliminator clash with the SunRisers at The Oval.

This is a repeat of a game from the final round of fixtures earlier this week, a game at Old Trafford which the Super Giants won by 10 wickets.

It is hard to believe that the SunRisers can be as bad again but there is no doubt the Super Giants have to be buzzing.

To be fair, they are in a good place anyway. A trio of half-centuries from New Zealand's Tim Seifert has led them to the trio of season-ending victories which have vaulted them from mid-division into this Eliminator.

Not only that, the departure of skipper Aiden Markram just over a week ago could have been disruptive, but Paul Walter has stepped up alongside Seifert with scores of 37, 64 and 44 not out.

Their England seam attack of Gus Atkinson, Josh Tongue and Sonny Baker have combined for 12 wickets over those three wins and this unit looks to have got everything just right at exactly the right time.

Alternative Bet: Tim Seifert - Player performance over 21.5 @ 5/6

There's a massive temptation to take Seifert to score over 19.5 runs at The Oval, where conditions will be ideal for batting.

The Kiwi is in sizzling form with knocks of 62 not out, 55 and 80 not out in his last three visits to the middle and he has four half-centuries and five scores over 28 in eight innings this season.

But there is a preference instead for backing him to produce a player performance over 21.5 where catches (10 points per catch) are added to his runs.

Manchester Super Giants v SunRisers Leeds Bet Builder Tip

  • Gus Atkinson 2+ wickets

  • Paul Walter 10+ runs

  • Harry Brook 10+ runs

  • Under 8.5 catches

    Pays 7/1

England's Gus Atkinson took 3-30 off his 20 balls against the Sunrisers on Tuesday and should be trusted to be in among the wickets again at The Oval.

Atkinson has taken at least two wickets in his last three games and five times in eight appearances this season, so make him to take two or more wickets the first leg of the Bet Builder.

Two batters to chuck into the Bet Builder are Walter and Harry Brook, each to score at least 10 runs.

Walter has scored 37, 64 and 44 in his three knocks to date and looks right at home at the top of the Super Giants' order.

Brook is far more hit and miss, but the inconsistent England batter has scored at least 10 runs in each of his last six knocks for the SunRisers.

Finally, there have been 48 wickets fall at The Oval in this summer's Men's Hundred at exactly 12 a game.

There is every chance that one of these power-packed batting sides won't fail, so take total match catches to fall at under 8.5

Tactics, Form and Team News

The Super Giants banked second spot by winning their last three games, culminating in Tuesday's must-win 10-wicket demolition of the Sunrisers in Manchester.

Walter will continue at the top of the order after South Africa star and skipper Markram flew home last week.

Expected Manchester Super Giants XI: Seifert, Walter, Buttler (c & wk), Du Plooy, Klaasen, Bracewell, Dawson, Atkinson, Ahmad, Tongue, Baker.
