Australia will be out to prove a point when they take to the field for the first of a three-match T20I series in Bangladesh on Wednesday, having already suffered a 2-1 ODI series defeat to their hosts.
The Baggy Green at least salvaged some pride by claiming a thrilling one-wicket victory in the final game of the 50-over series in Bangladesh, with all-rounder Cooper Connolly making a superb 149 from 134 deliveries when opening the batting.
He will want to build on that knock in the T20Is and the Aussies are boosted by the return of skipper Mitchell Marsh, while Nikhil Chaudhary and Joel Davies will be hoping to make their international debuts.
A host of big names are still missing, now including Travis Head, Cameron Green and Tim David.
Best Bet - Top team batter - Cooper Connolly @ 5.00
Alternative Bet - Top team bowler - Nathan Ellis @ 4.33
Bet Builder - Mitchell Marsh 20+ runs, Mustafizur Rahman 2+ wickets & Nathan Ellis 3+ wickets @ 17.00
Best Bet: Top team batter - Cooper Connolly @ 5.00
This best bet is a bit of a punt, with Connolly having made little impact on the international stage before his magnificent, matchwinning knock in the final ODI against the Tigers in Mirpur.
The left-hander had been dismissed for single figures in five of his eight one-day international innings before his big breakthrough, while in his seven T20I knocks to date he has not got further than 13 and registered three ducks.
However, buoyed by the confidence of his first major innings for the Baggy Green, he is taken to lead the way for his team on Wednesday, when he could bat anywhere in the top four.
Alternative Bet: Top team bowler - Nathan Ellis @ 4.33
With Pat Cummins, Mitchell Starc and Josh Hazlewood all missing for the tours of Pakistan and now Bangladesh, other seamers have been offered the chance to shine and Nathan Ellis has certainly pushed his name forward in the pecking order.
With a host of variations including a quality yorker and a number of slower ball options, Ellis has taken 55 wickets in the 28 T20Is he has played to date, including two or more wickets in five of his last ten outings.
He began his T20 international career against Bangladesh in August 2021, taking five wickets across two matches, and he can shine for the Baggy Green again here.
Mitchell Marsh 20+ runs
Mustafizur Rahman 2+ wickets
Nathan Ellis 3+ wickets

Although Connolly is taken to lead the way with the bat for the tourists, returning skipper Mitchell Marsh also comes into play, having made 20+ runs in eight of his last 12 innings in T20I cricket.
Bangladesh's box of tricks Mustafizur Rahman is backed to take 2+ wickets as the second part of this Bet Builder, with the left-arm seamer having taken three wickets in two of his last four 20-over international outings, both times at Chattogram.
Finally, to boost the value, having suggested that Aussie seamer Ellis will play a major role, add in the New South Welshman to take 3+ wickets in the match.
Ellis opened up his T20I career with three wickets or more in five of his first seven matches and, although he has found wicket-taking a little less easy since then, he registered career-best figures of 4-12 against Ireland at the T20 World Cup earlier this year.
