National Hunt racing returns to Cheltenham for the two-day October Meeting.
It's been a long summer for Jumps fans, but action from Prestbury Park signifies that the Flat campaign has almost reached its conclusion.
For many, this weekend's racing signifies the beginning of the trial all the way through to the Cheltenham Festival in March, where connections of horses running on Friday and Saturday will hope to be in five months time.
Tracks have suffered from a lack of rain up and down the country in recent months but, with plenty of rain forecast at the end of this week, Cheltenham will be looking perfect jumping ground.

The going at Ascot is currently being advertised as Good To Soft (Good In Places), with going stick readings of 6.3.
19mm of rain fell on the track overnight Thursday into Friday and further is expected through the morning.
