Open to horses aged five years or older, the Champion Chase is the leading minimum-distance chase in the British National Hunt calendar and is one of the highlights of the Cheltenham Festival.

The Champion Chase takes place on the Old Course and is a run over a distance of two miles.
The 2026 Champion Chase was won by the Willie Mullins-trained Il Etait Temps.
