Celtic are reportedly keeping tabs on the progress of Silkeborg midfielder Villads Westh ahead of the January transfer window.
On the Minute have reported that Celtic are monitoring the player's situation in Scandinavia.
The 22-year-old midifelder arrived at Danish side Silkeborg from Kolding IF in 2025 and he has quickly become an integral part of the team.
He has registered one goal and three assists in nine matches at the start of the new Superliga season and his performances have not gone unnoticed in Celtic's scouting team.
Westh is predominantly a central midfielder and he is able to influence matches from a deep-lying position.
His technical ability in the centre of midfield has helped him become one of the standout players in his domestic league.
Celtic underwent a considerable overhaul of their squad during the summer transfer window and it is believed that they are looking to strengthen again in January.
Martin O'Neill's side went into the current international break following a worrying run of results and a continuation of that form could increase the need for January reinforcements.
Westh's contract expires in 2029 and Silkeborg could be braced for offers if his good form continues.
