Carl Froch believes Tyson Fury has far more at stake than Anthony Joshua as the two British boxing behemoths prepare to settle their long-standing rivalry inside the ring later this year.
The two former world champions shared the stage for the first time on Wednesday evening when London's British Airway's Arc hosted the launch press conference for the Cardiff-staged showdown.
Fury and Joshua were in jovial and relaxed moods as they kicked off their pre-fight processions although there is expected to be a tad more animosity on show as we edge closer to the winner-takes-all clash.
Former unified super-middleweight champion of the world Froch has described the bout as a "generational legacy fight"; one that he feels carries greater significance for Fury than it does for his British rival.
"Who would defeat hurt more... that's an easy question to answer -- Tyson Fury!" he answered after being asked who the bout means the most to on Netflix.
"Tyson Fury has only ever lost on points to Oleksandr Usyk, whereas AJ has been knocked out and fallen apart in fights.
"When that happens it affects you, and I don't want to say get used to it, but you kind of know how to lose.
"Tyson Fury still struts into a room with his head held high, his chin right up and his chest pumped out.
"You can feel the aura, 'I am Tyson Fury', 'I am the Gypsy King', and you can see that he truly believes he is going to go out there and beat Anthony Joshua and do so in style.
"If Joshua loses it's another loss for him. Don't get me wrong, he will want to win, of course, but this is a true legacy fight and it will determine who people will say forever more that 'he is the guy of their generation'.
"If Tyson can't claim that then it will hit him a lot harder, there's no doubt about that."
