Bryson DeChambeau is one of the most fascinating personalities in golf and he bids to win his third Major championship this week.
The 32-year-old has been one of the best golfers on the planet for some time now, winning a brace of U.S Open titles in 2020 and 2024.
It's been hard to quantify the weight of performances on the LIV tour in comparison with PGA Tour and DP World Tour efforts, however, it hasn't seemed to hinder DeChambeau too much since made the switch to the Saudi-backed breakaway in 2022.
DeChambeau has won five times on LIV, with two of those coming this calendar year in Singapore and South Africa.
As it so often is, all the chat heading into this week's PGA Championship is centred around DeChambeau's off-the-course antics, as oppose to what he is doing on it.
With LIV facing an uncertain future, DeChambeau has suggested that he could dedicate his time to his live streaming career, instead of attempting to chart a path back towards competing on the PGA Tour.
Whatever happens this week, following The Scientist around Aronimink Golf Club will be box office...
The PGA Championship is a tournament that DeChambeau has performed well at in recent years, finishing runner-up in each of the last two years.
12 months ago, he finished at six-under par to tie for second place with Harris English and Davis Riley around Quail Hollow.
In 2024, DeChambeau was a sole runner-up when the tournament was played at Valhalla, shooting an excellent final round 64 to finish one shot behind Xander Schauffele.
