Bruno Fernandes has broken the record for the most Premier League assists record in a season after setting up Patrick Dorgu at Brighton on the final day of the 2025/26 campaign.
After blanking for the first seven games of the season, all 21 of Fernandes' assists have come in his last 30 appearances, and 13 have come in the 18 games following Ruben Amorim's departure.
The Portuguese star has been hugely influential in Manchester United's revival under Michael Carrick as they have climbed the Premier League table and secured a third place finish that will guarantee a return to the UEFA Champions League next season.
The quality Fernandes has produced over the last few months is demonstrated by the 31-year-old being named 2025/26 Premier League Player of the Season on the eve of the final day.
