Brentford and Rangers are reportedly looking to sign right-back Ryan Alebiosu from Blackburn Rovers this summer.
Alebiosu joined Blackburn from KV Kortrijk in July 2025 after struggling to establish himself in Belgium.
The 24-year-old made 25 appearances across two seasons in Belgium and he was loaned out to St Mirren for the second half of the 2024/25 campaign.
His move to Ewood Park saw him enjoy a strong campaign in the Championship as he made 39 appearances for the club.
He also earned international recognition by making his senior debut for Nigeria at the back end of 2025.
Alebiosi is under contract until 2028 but journalist Alan Nixon has reported that Brentford and Rangers have joined the growing race to sign the player.
It is claimed that both clubs have sent scouts to watch Alebiosu as the interest intensifies in the right-back.
Rangers are planning for life without James Tavernier and they are in the market for a long-term replacement.
Brentford manager Keith Andrews is also believed to want more depth at right-back this season and he has impressed by Alebiosu's resurgence in the last 12 months.
