Callum Walsh v Tyler Denny Prediction, Tips and Bet Builder

Unbeaten Irishman Callum Walsh will look to continue his progress towards a middleweight world title when he meets the experienced Tyler Denny in front of a home 3Arena crowd in Dublin.

The bout takes place as part of the Zuffa Boxing 10 card and is on the undercard of the middleweight world title fight between Aaron McKenna and Etinosa Oliha.

Callum Walsh v Tyler Denny Tips Preview

Callum Walsh is making progress up the middleweight ranks and the Irishman is a red-hot 1/6 favourite to beat Tyler Denny in Dublin.

King brings an undefeated 16-0 (11 KOs) record to the ring on Saturday night and the California-based fighter has been making smooth progress through the ranks.

Walsh has won various continental and US titles and there are useful wins over Ismael Villarreal and Przemyslaw Runowski in the formative years of his career.

The 25-year-old has created a good impression, but recent performances have moved the Cork-born boxer to a new level and Walsh is now considered to be one of the best young fighters in the sport.

King dominated Carlos Ocampo in his most recent contest in January and Ocampo has been a fringe world-level contender.

The Mexican has mixed it with former world champion Tim Tszyu and current elite puncher Sebastian Fundora in the past but was easily dismissed.

Walsh has previously almost completely shut out Fernando Vargas, who was 17-0 at the time and King looks to be heading to the pinnacle of the sport.

Denny is an experienced performer, who is a former English, British, Commonwealth and European middleweight champion.

The 35-year-old has victories over Bradley Rea, Brad Pauls and Matteo Signani on his card and the standout success came when beating Felix Cash in 2024.

However, the West Midlands man has lost four and drawn three of his 28 professional bouts and has come up short on too many occasions in the past.

Walsh will be aiming for another statement success and Denny may lack the tools to stop the Irishman in Dublin.

Callum Walsh v Tyler Denny Top Tips

Callum Walsh to win by KO, TKO or DQ @ 7/5

Callum Walsh looks the clear pick in Dublin and can be backed to beat Tyler Denny by stoppage.

King has dominated Carlos Ocampo and Fernando Vargas in his last two bouts and the 25-year-old rates a progressive middleweight.

The form of the victory over Ocampo, where the Irishman dominated every round, looks the clear pick in a bout which could be one-way traffic.

Walsh did touch down in the sixth round of January’s victory over the Mexican, but it was more him being off balance than being hurt and Denny lacks the power to stop the 25-year-old.

Only one of the 35-year-old’s 21 victories has come by stoppage and it’s difficult to think that Denny has any improvement to come at this stage of his career.

Hamzah Sheeraz stopped Denny in round two of their 2024 clash and George Liddard gave the West Midlands man a hard time in his most recent contest.

Walsh is set to dominate the Dublin contest and the King looks overpriced to be crowned with a knockout success.
