Popular heavyweight Dave Allen will look to claim a statement victory when he features in the co-main event of Katie Taylor's farewell fight in Dublin, Ireland this weekend.
In a landmark event held at the home of Gaelic sports Croke Park, Allen is set to face former Irish heavyweight champion Thomas Carty over ten rounds.
The southpaw has lost just one of his 12 fights as a professional and will have a crowd of 80,000 fans on his side as he looks to claim the biggest win of his career.
Allen meanwhile has rebounded from his loss to Filip Hrgovic by picking up a pair of four-round tune-up wins over the summer.
