Boreham Wood have started the season in red hot form and may have one eye on breaking the National League points record.
The Wood narrowly missed out on promotion last campaign when defeated on penalties in the playoff final by Rochdale, but have won 13 of their opening 15 league matches in 2026/27, sending them well clear at the top of the table.
Wrexham amassed an incredible 111 points when winning the National League title in 2022/23 and, although it's still early days, Boreham Wood are on track to achieve something similar.
bet365 trading expert Steve Freeth said: "The win from behind at Woking made it eight on the spin for the unbeaten Wood and with the small matter of Matt Rush returning to full fitness, Wrexham’s record tally could only be available on Disney Plus come the end of the season."
Luke Garrard has had a long association with the club, both as a player and as a manager, and has done a fantastic job across two spells in the dugout.
Under Garrard, Wood have defeated EFL opposition for the very first time, won the National League South playoffs, lifted the National League Cup and reached the National League playoffs on no less than four occasions.
Despite selling their best player last season, Abdul Abdulmalik to Djurgårdens IF for £1.5m, the club have shot 10 points clear at the top of the league and are now 1/14 to reach the Football League for the very first time in their history.
Wrexham won 34 of their 46 matches when racking up 111 points in 2022/23, drawing nine and losing three. Wood are yet to taste defeat this campaign and are showing no signs of slowing down.
