Bolton Wanderers v West Ham team news

West Ham will look to extend their Championship winning streak when they take on Bolton at the Toughsheet Community Stadium.

After failing to win their opening three fixtures in the second tier, Nuno Espirito Santo's side have uncovered the winning formula with back-to-back victories over Wolves and Derby County.

Bolton, on the other hand, come into the fixture off the back of a heavy 4-0 defeat to an injury-depleted Millwall on Saturday.

Steven Schumacher's men had started the campaign promisingly with four points from meetings against Preston and QPR, but Bolton have since suffered three consecutive defeats in the second tier.

It's the first league meeting between the two sides since 2011, and history is on the side of the Trotters, who have won the previous seven league fixtures against West Ham. In fact, you'd have to go back to May 2007 for the last time the Hammers defeated Bolton in a league match.

Schumacher's reacted to the 4-0 defeat at Millwall by making seven changes for tonight's fixture.

Gavin Bazunu makes his debut in place of Jack Bonham, while only Chris Forino-Joseph retains his place in the back four.

Ethan Erhahon steps into midfield in place of Xavier Simons, while Ruben Rodrigues and Kyliane Dong accompany Samuel Iling-Junior in an attacking three behind Sam Dalby.

Nuno makes three alterations to the side that defeated Derby with goalscorer Joel Piroe dropping to the bench and Edvin Austbø staring in a three-pronged attack alongside Jarrod Bowen and Taty Castellanos.

Mohamadou Kanté accompanies Arne Engels and Divine Mukasa in midfield, and Kyle Walker-Peters replaces Joel Veltman at right-back.
