Blackburn and Preston linked with Brentford forward

Blackburn Rovers and Preston North End are reportedly exploring a loan move for Brentford forward Kaye Furo.

On The Minute have reported that the two Championship clubs are monitoring the player's situation as Brentford consider the prospect of more regular first-team football.

Furo arrived at Brentford in January 2026 from Belgian side Club Brugge and he has only featured twice for the Bees since the move.

The Belgian Under 21 striker scored eight goals in 18 appearances for Brugge's development team in 2024/25, before featuring eight times for the first team last season prior to his move to England.

Championship

With Furo unlikely to feature for Brentford in the short term, an opportunity to play regularly in the Championship would be a sensible next step.

Both Blackburn and Preston are in the market for attacking reinforcements as the transfer window enters its final week.

Rovers have started the new Championship season with a win and a draw but manager Tony Mowbray is working with a small squad and is looking to add more quality in forward areas.

Meanwhile, Preston have started the season with back-to-back defeats and Furo could be a valuable addition to their squad.
