The highest winning weight in the history of the Grand National is 12st 7lbs, with Cloister, Manifesto, Jerry M and Poethlyn all winning the race carrying the record weight.
Since Poethlyn's victory in the 1919 Grand National, only four horses have triumphed carrying 12st or more.
It is a record that is unlikely to be broken anytime soon as the maximum weight that a Grand National horse can currently carry is 11st 12lbs.

Many Clouds carried the most weight of any Grand National winner in the 21st century when he famously won the 2015 race carrying 11st 9lbs.
