Arsenal winger Reiss Nelson is attracting interest from Europe this summer, according to reports.
The 26-year-old spent last season out on loan at Brentford and could reignite a relationship from an previous temporary spell away from Arsenal if Marco Silva's Benfica act on their reported admiration.
Nelson spent the 2024/25 campaign out on loan with Fulham -- managed by Silva at the time -- scoring twice in 12 appearances at Craven Cottage.
It's not just the Portuguese outfit that are interested in signing Nelson, however. The BBC's senior football correspondent Sami Mokbel also claims that La Liga side Valencia could make a move for the former England youth international.
A product of the Arsenal academy, Nelson's longstanding association with the Gunners is set to come to an end upon the expiry of his current deal next season.
The winger joined the North London club all the way back in 2008 and has made a total of 90 appearances for the first team in between loan spells at Feyenoord, Hoffenheim, Fulham and Brentford.
Alongside interest from abroad, reports also indicate that Nelson could be offered the chance to stay in England.
"Intriguingly, Fulham are among the English-based clubs interested in Nelson, which could see Silva go head-to-head for the winger's services just weeks after leaving Craven Cottage," said Mokbel.
Nelson has only just returned to pre-season training at Arsenal after seeing out his loan agreement with Brentford. The winger failed to make a Premier League start during his time Bees but could remain in West London, just eight miles across the capital, with his former employers at Craven Cottage.
