We take a look at the 2027 Ballon d'Or odds after Harry Kane won the prestigious 2026 award on Monday night.
Kane and Yamal had been disputing Ballon d'Or favouritism since the World Cup; while Kane's England crashed out at the semi-finals stage, Yamal's Spain lifted the trophy, though the Barcelona man was a long way below his best throughout the tournament.
Of course, both Bayern Munich and Barcelona won their respective league titles though neither won the UEFA Champions League, making the winner less clear-cut heading into Monday's award ceremony.
In the days leading up to the announcement, Kylian Mbappe emerged as a real contender as the Frenchman aimed to pick up the award for the first time in his already glittering career.
Attentions now turn to the 2027 award, where Yamal is the early favourite ahead of Mbappe.

Arguably the best player in the world, Yamal has every chance of winning this season's UEFA Champions League, with Barcelona marginal favourites ahead of Paris Saint-Germain.
Aside from Yamal and Mbappe, Jude Bellingham and Michael Olise are next in the betting, with Kane, Raphinha and Erling Haaland not far behind.
