Anthony Joshua has reunited with former coach Ben Davison as the Matchroom heavyweight fine-tunes his preparations for his upcoming showdown with British foe Tyson Fury.
Watford-born Joshua undertook a couple of fights under the guidance of the trainer in 2023 and 2024 before cutting short the partnership following his devastating knockout defeat to Daniel Dubois.
AJ has since worked with Oleksandr Usyk's team who have overseen victories over Jake Paul and Kristian Prenga, although they will no longer be part of his set-up for the upcoming clash with the Gypsy King.
Announcing the news on Monday night, Joshua's promoter Eddie Heard said: "He’s always been, even when Ben wasn’t his principal trainer, working with him strategically, talking all the time. I think he respects Ben a lot.
Obviously, there’s probably a feeling that Ben Davison knows Tyson Fury extremely well.

"I don’t know AJ’s final decision to where he’s going to locate his training camp, but Ben Davison will definitely be involved in that camp and that process."
Davison has helped nurture the talents of numerous British boxing stars over the years, and was pivotal to Fury's sensational return to the sport in 2018 when he helped the Morecambe man shed eight stone following a battle with depression and substance abuse.
Under Davison, the Gypsy King beat Sefer Seferi and Francesco Pianta before being held to a controversial draw by Deontay Wilder; a fight in which many fight fans and pundits felt the Englishman had won comfortably.
He then bounced back with stoppage wins over Tom Schwarz and Otto Wallin before opting to part ways with Davison ahead of his rematch with Wilder in 2020, who he stopped in the seventh round to capture the WBC's green and gold world title for the first time.
However, it now appears he will be standing in the opposite corner of his former charge when the pair finally trade leather in one of the most hyped fights in British boxing history.
It's expected that official confirmation of Fury vs Joshua could be made as early as this week with Cardiff's Principality Stadium having been chosen as the venue to host the Netflix-streamed event.
