Alex Pereira vs Ciryl Gane - UFC White House odds

Alex Pereira will attempt to make history when he faces off against Ciryl Gane at the White House on Sunday night.

The Brazilian enjoyed one of the most meteoric rises ever seen inside the Octagon since signing with the UFC in 2021 following a career in kickboxing that saw him capture world titles in two different weight classes.

Since making his way into mixed martial arts Pereira has added two UFC titles to his list of accolades, defeating longtime rival Israel Adesanya to win gold at 185lbs before joining the elite group of two-weight champions in the promotion when he KO'd Jiri Prochazka.

Still just 16 fights into his MMA career, Pereira will look to become the first fighter ever to hold a title in three different weight classes when he takes on Ciryl Gane in the co-main event of UFC Freedom 250.

Gane is one of the best strikers in the heavyweight division and previously held the interim title after defeating Derrick Lewis in 2021.

Despite making his debut as a heavyweight on Sunday night Pereira is the favourite to prevail in the interim title clash, and is currently priced at 20/23 to get his hand raised at the White House.

'Poatan' has already recorded eight victories by knockout inside the UFC, and he is 29/20 to make it nine against Gane.

There have been questions as to whether Pereira's power could possibly hold up at a third weight class, especially against a fighter like Gane who has shared the Octagon with some of the heaviest hitters in the heavyweight division.

The fight to go the full 25-minute distance is 8/5, with Pereira 6/1 to get the victory on the judges' scorecards and Gane 14/5 to win on points.
