Bruno Fernandes is expected to claim the 2025/26 award after his record-breaking Premier League campaign with Manchester United, but the Portuguese maestro will have to wait until Tuesday 25th August to find out at the PFA Awards Ceremony.
bet365's Steve Freeth said: "The market is dominated by the 2026 award shortlist as well as high-profile players who underperformed last season. Cole Palmer and Phil Foden have a clean slate to flourish under new managers, as does Alexander Isak following a frustrating debut campaign at Anfield."
In what is currently a hugely competitive market, six players are priced shorter than 10/1.
Erling Haaland is the 11/2 favourite; the Manchester City man is always going to catch the eye with his rampant goalscoring, and is bidding for a second PFA award after a clean sweep of individual accolades in his debut 2022/23 season.
Fernandes is second favourite at 6/1, and while he's unlikely to break his own assist record, the 31-year-old remains a relentless creative outlet and he can look forward to a full season under Michael Carrick.
Declan Rice, who was favourite for much of last season, is third favourite at 8/1, the same price as Antoine Semenyo -- who was hugely impressive at the Etihad following his January move -- and Rodri, though the Spain man may well be departing for Real Madrid before the season kicks off.
Bukayo Saka at 9/1 is the sixth player available at a single-figure price.
