There's an even greater incentive to reign supreme at the upcoming 2026 Women's World Matchplay; the reward of the biggest prize in the competition's illustrious history!
Eight of the PDC's finest female arrowsmiths, including Beau Greaves and Fallon Sherrock, will take to the fabled stage of Blackpool's Winter Gardens later this month, each hoping to capture one of the biggest prizes on the tour.
Won last year by the evergreen Lisa Ashton, a record amount of prize money will be on offer this time around, with the winner set to earn an additional £5,000 from 12 months ago.
In total, the prize money increase for the Women's World Matchplay tallies £15,000, taking the entire pot to a historic £40,000.
But which of the women's super-houses will get their hands on the bumper prize?
Winner (1): | £15,000 |
Runner-Up (1): | £8,000 |
Semi-Final Losers (2): | £4,500 |
Quarter-Final Losers (4): | £2,000 |
A total of £40,000 will be up for grabs in Blackpool this summer, a significant of £15,000 from 2025.
A £15,000 cut of that will go straight into the pocket of the winner, whilst the runner-up will be rewarded for their run to the final by the tune of £8,000.
Players who are beaten in the semi-finals will earn 4,500 with four quarter-final losers still taking home £2,000.
