2026 Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf betting odds, runners & preview

A whole host of top-level winners will jump for the £770,000 on offer for winning the Breeders' Cup Filly & Mare Turf.

Like with many of the turf races over the two days, this has been dominated by the visiting Europeans, who have taken this seven times across the last decade.

The brilliant Inspiral won this for John & Thady Gosden in 2023 and the UK very much has the outstanding candidate this time around.

Victorious on each of her last six starts, Blue Bolt has been an absolute revelation as a four-year-old and is bidding to give connections yet another Group 1 success on Saturday. The Blue Point filly showed plenty of promise during her Classic campaign, but has really delivered this season, landing four consecutive Group 1s. It wasn't clear what her target was heading into this week, trainer Andrew Balding opting to step up marginally in trip rather than take on the boys in the Mile.

Precise was on the receiving end of several high-class Blue Bolt performances throughout the summer, finishing behind her rival at Newmarket, Deauville and Leopardstown. She goes again though and the extra distance may just tilt things slightly back in her favour, given the 10 furlong form she has in the book. Long mooted for a hike up in distance, Precise took to the task well to finish close up behind Miss Scott in the Prix de l'Opera at the beginning of the month.

The front two are far clear on form but, at the end of a long season, the Americans will be hoping that they might just be able to catch them out.

Kathynmarissa is the home team's best chance, arriving her in search of a hat-trick after successes at Saratoga and Belmont Park. Chad Brown's filly got the better of last year's winner Gezora back in May and this 1m1f trip should be right up her street.

Mark Casse will be chuffed enough with stall three for Classic Q, however, Lush Lips wasn't afforded the same luck, posted out in 13 with John Velazquez in the plate.
