2026/27 EFL Cup fourth round confirmed draw: Fleetwood host Arsenal

Fleetwood Town are the lowest ranked team remaining in the EFL Cup after defeating Sheffield United.

An unfortunate Rhys Norrington-Davies own goal saw the Cod Army safely through to the fourth round of the competition for the first time in their history and they have been rewarded with a home tie against Premier League champions Arsenal.

In what is arguably the tie of the round, Xabi Alonso will be reunited with Liverpool when he takes his Chelsea side to Anfield.

That is one of five confirmed all-Premier League match-ups as Everton host Newcastle, Brentford travel to Sunderland, Fulham welcome Crystal Palace to Craven Cottage and Villa venture south to face Bournemouth.

Should Manchester City defeat Norwich on Thursday night then five will become six as the winners get to host Brighton.

Round four ties are scheduled to take place during the week commencing 26th October.
