Antepost favourite Daryz remains on track to try and defend his Prix de l'Arc de Triomphe crown after he appeared among 19 remaining entries on Monday morning.
The son of Sea The Stars rather emulated his father by producing a sensational performance to win the race in 2025, showing a potent turn of foot to fend off the challenge of Minnie Hauk, who is also among the 19-strong list.
She is one of three entries for Aidan O'Brien, who has also left Irish Derby winner Benvenuto Cellini and and four-time Group 1 winner Diamond Necklace in the race.
Aidan's son, Joseph O'Brien, is enjoying a stellar campaign so far and will rely on his runaway Oaks winner Thundering On in a quest to land Europe's premier middle distance contest for the very first time. It is unclear who will take the ride on the Classic-winning filly, however, with regular jockey Dylan Browne McMonagle currently sidelined with an injury that he sustained when taking a fall at Bellewstown in late August.
Britain could be represented by as many as four in the Longchamp feature: Saddadd, Bay City Roller, Kalpana and Maltese Cross.
The latter is the current second favourite for the race behind Daryz following his excellent performance in the Great Voltigeur where he reversed form from the Derby with Christmas Day. He is bidding to give William Haggas a first winner in the race after missing out on victory in 2018 when Sea Of Class fell to an agonising neck defeat to Enable.
King George winner Kalpana is also well fancied for Ralph Beckett and owners Juddmonte who are hoping to win this for a eighth time.
Japan's troubled relationship with the race continues for another year, this time they will be doubly-represented by Admire Terra and Meisho Tabaru in a quest to break their Arc duck. Orfevre finished runner-up in both 2012 & 2013, with last year's hope Byzantine Dream only managing fifth.
