Let's dive in!
This is arguably the biggest regular season game of the year, with the top team in each conference meeting in the Bay Area.
With the Niners now favored by -5.5 at home, more and more professional bettors are putting money on the Ravens as underdogs.
The 49ers hype train is in full force since they have won their last six games including wins over the Philadelphia Eagles and Jacksonville Jaguars, scoring at least 30 points in four of those matchups.
But the Ravens have been nearly as good. They are riding a four-game win streak with three of those wins by 10 points or more, including wins over the Jaguars and the Los Angeles Rams.
Because both teams are playing at a high level, Chad thinks it will be a close one. He likes the Ravens +5.5.
Ravens-49ers has been dubbed the 'MVP Bowl' in the build-up to the Christmas Day showdown.
San Francisco QB Brock Purdy is the NFL MVP favorite at -200, with Ravens QB Lamar Jackson holding the second-shortest odds at +450 heading into their duel.
Plus, there's the added wrinkle of the NFL's joint-leader in rushing plus receiving touchdowns, 49ers RB Christian McCaffrey, having +1000 MVP odds.
Chad thinks that whoever is the dominant player in this game will emerge as the MVP frontrunner. And, Chad thinks that person will be McCaffrey. Bettors should take the offer while his odds are still relatively long.
For his Week 16 Same Game Parlay, Chad is looking at the Miami Dolphins, who host the Dallas Cowboys on Sunday at 4:25 PM ET. Specifically, Chad is looking at the Dolphins offense.
The Cowboys are coming off a 31-10 loss to the Buffalo Bills, their latest time giving up a large amount of points to a good offense after conceding 42 in a loss to the 49ers earlier this season. Raheem Mostert is tied for the league lead in rushing/receiving touchdowns and Tua Tagovailoa leads the league in passing yards, and Chad thinks they will continue those trends in Week 16.
Chad's Same Game Parlay: Dolphins ML, T. Tagovailoa Over Pass Yds., R. Mostert Anytime TD
Chad's Week 16 Money Line Parlay features the Atlanta Falcons (-140 ML) hosting the Indianapolis Colts, the Tennessee Titans (+145 ML) hosting the Seattle Seahawks, and the New York Jets (-165 ML) hosting the Washington Commanders.
It's a trio of 1 PM ET games. The Falcons have Taylor Heinicke at QB this week, the Titans are looking to bounce back against the Seahawks after losing to the Texans last week, and the Jets defense should play well against the Commanders.
Chad's Money Line Parlay: Falcons ML, Titans ML, Jets ML
The Pittsburgh Steelers are +2.0 home underdogs in an AFC North showdown with the Cincinnati Bengals, and Chad thinks this is a classic spot for Steelers coach Mike Tomlin.
Tomlin is profitable against the spread as an underdog, especially late in the season and against a division rival. The Steelers are being sold low off the back of three straight losses to the Arizona Cardinals, New England Patriots, and Indianapolis Colts. Their last win? Over the Bengals in Cincinnati.
Chad's Best Bet: Steelers +2.0
