The 2023/24 NFL season kicks off on Thursday, September 7, the start of 21 straight weeks of football leading up to Super Bowl LVIII.
And our expert panel has you covered with all the insight and analysis needed ahead of the new season.
Can the Kansas City Chiefs, the +600 favorite to Win Outright, lift back-to-back Lombardi Trophies and become the first team to repeat since the New England Patriots in the mid-2000s?
Last year’s runners-up, the Philadelphia Eagles, will have something to say about that. The 2022 NFC champions are restocked and head into the new season +800 to win the Super Bowl. Kansas City’s conference rivals – the Bills, Bengals, Chargers, and new-look Jets – all enter 2023/24 with championship expectations, as well.
And we can’t forget about the other end of the spectrum.
In 18 of the last 20 seasons, a team who finished last place in its division went on to win it the following year.
In 2022/23, it was the Jacksonville Jaguars winning the AFC South and a playoff game one year removed from having the No. 1 overall pick. Which club could go worst-to-first this season?
Many are pointing to the Jets, who added four-time MVP and future Hall of Fame QB Aaron Rodgers this offseason, as well as a flock of skill players who followed suit.
The Jets are +240 to win their first AFC division title since 2002.
Rodgers is one of many superstar quarterbacks that will grace the gridiron this season, with last year’s MVP Patrick Mahomes, Joe Burrow, Jalen Hurts, and Josh Allen just some of the signal-callers expected to lead their team to the promise land.
Mahomes (+550), Burrow (+650) and Allen (+750) lead the betting to win Most Valuable Player in 2023/24.
