League of Legends side Team SoloMid FTX have confirmed Wei "Shenyi" Zi-Jie has been dropped down to the LCS Academy as a support player, with Wan "Yursan" Sheng-Yu moving in the opposite direction.
TSM can be backed at 6/5 to win their next match in the LCS Spring against Immortals, who are 8/13 to prevail.
The move comes after TSM made their worst ever start to the LCS Spring, with a 0-4 record after two weeks.
They have so far lost to Evil Geniuses, Dignitas, FlyQuest and Golden Guardians as their roster, which has featured three different nationalities, has struggled to gel.
And in response to the difficult start to the event, TSM have confirmed support player Shenyi will move to the Academy team to settle into the environment, while Academy player Yursan will be promoted straight to the first team's starting line-up.

Yursan showcased his skills for TSM FTX earlier this year, playing for the organization in the LCS Lock In 2022, during which the team were missing some key players due to visa issues.
TSM finished last in their group in the Lock In, but Yursan now has an even better opportunity to prove his worth as a support player.
Regarding the player swap, TSM FTX wrote in a statement: "Player comfort and adaptation are core values at TSM.
"With this in mind, we have decided to substitute Yursan with Shenyi for the upcoming LCS Academy games.
"As a recent arrival, Shenyi requires more time to adjust to NA - he will benefit from the Academy league's environment, whilst accumulating more game time at a more comfortable pace."
