Xander Schauffele has won two Major tournaments in 2024, and he enters the Olympics as the second-favorite to win the gold medal.
With the Men's Golf tournament taking place from August 1-4, Schauffele enters at +600 to win.
Only his Team USA teammate and World No. 1 golfer Scottie Scheffler has shorter odds at +400.
Less than two weeks before the Olympic golf tournament, Schauffele won the Open Championship by two strokes thanks to a -6 final round.
He also won the 2024 PGA Championship by a single stroke, holding off Bryson DeChambeau. Schauffele hasn't finished outside the top 10 in a Major in 2024, finishing T7 in the U.S. Open and 8th at the Masters.
The Southern California native ranks second on the PGA Tour in total strokes gained with 2.2 per round, meaning he is more than two strokes better than the average Tour player in 2024. He cracks the top 10 in strokes gained from tee to green, driving off the tee, and putting.
Schauffele is currently the World No. 2-ranked golfer, and a strong performance in Paris could see him unseat Scheffler atop the world ranking.
