2026 Fiji Pro Dates & Location
The Fiji Pro will take place at the Cloudbreak wave in Tavarua on the Mamanuca Islands of Fiji.
The Competition will begin on August 25th, and conclude on September 4th, 2026.
The Cloudbreak Wave
Cloudbreak is a world-class wave site off the iconic Tavarua Island in Fiji's Mamanuca archipelago.
The wave is a heavy left-hand reef break that can hold swells of up to 20 feet. The wave can roll for roughly 100 yards over a sharp coral reef. The wave is only accessible by boat, and is at least a 10 minute ride from Tavaru Island Resort or Namotu Island.
The most consistent time to hit the wave comes between March and November, and is not recommended for beginner surfers due to it's heavy barrels and the shallow coral reef below.
2026 Fiji Pro Forecast
During the first few days of the competition, forecasters expect varying sized waves. The best surfing days in the first week look to be Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday (August 26-28.), with expected swells of 6-10 feet.
Smaller swells are expected during the final few days of August (29-31).
There is potential for a Southern Ocean storm to bring large waves to the reef in early September (September 2-4) for the final days of the competition.
